Put something together. Look at future events. There are so many things around SoCal. Don't be afraid to drive or check out performance events. It doesn't always mean racing. It's fun. Hell, I drove over 1k miles each way just to drive on the most dangerous track in the world.

Canyon Runs. Hundreds of miles of roads all over SoCal with spectacular roads and views that people in other parts of the country would kill to have.

Irwindale

Set up a meet. If they, they come. If they don't, they don't...

Don't be afraid to check out a performance event wether you track or not. It's fun to watch and talk to the crews in the pits.

 

Every weekend there is something going on. Now that my car is running again I'll be hitting up some of those events here shortly.

 

Thanks for the info. Since i've moved here i've only been to the meet at Symbolic and a parking lot meet that was on a wednesday night i believe in escondido or something like that.

When is the next time you guys are doing Cars N Coffee in Irvine?

 

Not sure about the group but I may come up next weekend. We still do C&C Oside and some of the other non G folks go up to Newport Lambo and C&C Irvine. Now that I've done some maintenance work on the G and looks like I'll have a job that'll keep me put here in town for a while I'll be doing more stuff, predicated gas prices drop. I only went to the Wednesday North County meet (Overdue Meet as it's called) once and it'll be shut down next because once again, they don't know how to be civilized. That same meet though is held some Saturday's at SAE Motorsports from 11-2 and is more chilled than the Wednesday meet. HRE Open House is in a few weeks (June 6) and will be hitting that up.

 

Just let me know if you do come up this way
