Can anyone refer me to a mobile mechanic to take a look at my car? I live in Pacific Beach

My car has low oil pressure and consumes oil at a faster rate. it's an 03 with 110k.
she's falling apart. a friend said that something underneath near the piston was welded? i don't know, I don't know much about cars, mechanically.

 

We'll I don't know any but a good question when u park ur car over night do you have oil leakage? Bit sure if you know but their was also a recall on our engines about heavy oil consumption,.. My drinks oil pretty good, i honestly deal with it but mine is not a daily.. Not sure what the fix was but I think guys were getting their engines replaced but I don't remember .. Good luck and keep us posted on what you discover..

How much longer you got? Some of the old G crew from before you left are coming back.

I do miss the small groups. I stopped attending the "SDCE" meets over two years ago since there were too many people joining the group doing stupid **** behind the wheel. At one point it seemed like there was an accident on every other run.

 

Maybe we should have the original group that was in SDCE?

 

I don't go out with them as much as I used to. There are a lot of new faces in the group now. Most are cool but as I've gotten older I find my patience for stupidity not as tolerant as before. These guys have seemed to behaved themselves a lot better since we have had so many close calls and flipovers on canyon runs. Luckily no one has gotten seriously hurt or killed.

I got much work I want/need to do on the ride. Real life has gotten in the way of some of that stuff but it is what it is. There is a new SDGZ group, much younger crowd. They are cool though, some of them have some nice mods (a couple of them are FI). Most of them are north county though so I only see them on Saturdays for the most part at C&C. But they do get together at each others houses and do mod meets. They all seem to want to help out where they can, which is cool. I see Grant on occasion and he still works on my car when I can catch him. Mark's G should be if not already done soon, he went FI. Most of us old heads are still around though, just don't pop up on the scene as much.

Any G35/G37 out there wanting to buy used HFC from Fast intention? I am pulling them off my car tomorrow. later on maybe in December the exhaust will be coming off as well. It's also Fast Intention.

 

Let's talk. You going a different route I take it? Right now my exhaust is starting to annoy me. At first I liked the sound especially when getting on the gas but I thinking of something else. I still haven't put back on my HFCs since my last smog and one of the original cats has a rattle in it so looks like I'll be due to change them out soon.

 

yeah i just don't want to take it off and then put it back on every time i have to smog the car. So, i am just going to leave it off the car. Plus i am SC so i am not going to miss 15 HP. I am still over 400 and when i up grade the SC i will have more then enough power.

Oh and the HFC is off the car so if any one wants them shoot me a PM. Price is $300
