Yeah I used 3m tape on the bottom, but I guess I need some more around the front edge. It stays in place but you can definitely more it up and down if you attempt it. I'm going to buy another roll tomorrow and probably later in the week attempt to fix it.

Still having trouble with fitting the lip. I'll try to install it again this Friday, but if still no dice, I will have it professionally installed. I also need to install one of your groovy garage door splitters. I've already scrapped the bottom of the lip.

Talk to Pharrari, he's the guy who knows all the places to rent exotics. Hell, he might even have one for you to rent. I've seen them for rent at places before but don't recall where. I'm sure if you call Symbolic they can direct you to where you can rent them. I do believe enterprise has a few elise's you can rent. Not sure which place they get them from but they offered my buddy one to replace his elise while his was in the shop due to an accident. You have an awesome sister if she is buying a lotus. The market for those is extremely small. They offer test drives to all that are interested.

yeah but they aren't all that small once you get used to them. It's an incredible ride.

update:
finally got my Samco hoses & Stillen engine damper installed

-the Stillen damper transmits alot of vibration through the pedal and takes some getting used to BUT the throttle response is on point PLUS smoother feeling shifts. it really feels like it's pulling harder, for realz.
