You get a discount (the bbk for $3000) as stated by Mark. Frankly, mark and I are really the only guys that would "need" a bbk at this point in our modding phase. For the rest of you guys with pretty much stock cars (no offense), a $3000 on a bbk would be a waste. Frankly, if you have 3k to spend, go FI!!!

Very true...though the look of a BBK is awesome. I say for some people with stock just get some slotted or drilled rotors if you want that look. Then again, if you have the money and are going for looks (externals) first I say go for it. I'd do it but there's so much more externals mods I want to do before a BBK. Sure would be nice though.

But hey, if anyone can get us a partial sponsorship on different parts like wheels, CF stuff, or watever else. I'm in. I want to start researching for contact info on these vendors and take a crack at any sponsorship. I mean, if we all do it, 20+ cars showing off the vendors stuff. That seems like good exposure for their products in my opinion.

You need a lot more than 3 grand to go FI.

my 2000th post!!! yeah, the guys who make this kit go through the same people rotors for the RA & Megan BBK's. these guys make the rotor hats & calipers(forged, yay!) in house though. they have hella applications. they make wheels and are now gonna be makin' coilovers and BBK. i asked rye, since he has the most agressive exterior mods. Justin, these would look ill on ur ride too. these guys knew quite a bit about the Megan kit, they said a lot of the design elements on the caliper where for stregnth, sine they're not forged. if i don't cash in on this deal, i'll def pass the info on to Jus or Rye. they said under 3k BTW. imma guess $2800ish, could be lower though, they did say they'd work w/me. considering what you get, it's really a GREAT deal. i could get the RA kit for $3800 w/custom calipers and intall. the FastBrakes assembled Wilwood 6/4 kit, goes for $2600-$2900 depending on what config. i can get the RacingBrake 4/2 kit for 3k w/partial sponsorship. so, i've really been lookin' for the best deal... hope i got a kit by EA in July.

But I'd highly recommend you save up more than the minimum cost of parts and installation. With F/I applications especially, you have to assume something will go wrong and will need money for repairs. Don't wanna spend your entire budget only to have something go wrong not long after and not have the funds to fix it. I realize this will not always be the case, but better safe than sorry.
