SO I'M LOOKING TO UPGRADE MY 2008 G35 SEDAN (306HP ENGINE) A LITTLE BIT BY UPGRADING MY INTAKE SYSTEM.

MY 3 OPTIONS RIGHT NOW ARE..

1. STILLEN GEN 3 ULTRA LONG TUBE CAI
2. STILLEN GEN 2 LONG TUBE DUAL INTAKE
3. FUJITA SHORT RAM INTAKE


I DONT HAVE ANY OTHER MODIFICATIONS TO MY VEHICLE, FROM WHAT I HEAR, THE STILLEN GEN 3 MIGHT PRODUCE TOO MUCH AIR INTAKE FOR MY STOCK EXHAUST TO HANDLE? NOT SURE IF THIS IS JUST A BAD SOURCE I READ FROM OR IF THIS IS TRUE, IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME CHOOSE, I'D REALLY APPRECIATE IT.

I USED TO DRIVE A BMW E46, SO THIS IS MY FIRST INFINITI FORUM I'M JOINING..I FEEL LIKE A TRAITOR..(BUT I LOVE MY G35 MUCH MORE THAN MY E46 )

 

Stillen gen3, you'll be fine w/o an exhaust. get the invidia when you do get an exhaust though. also a tune and ur set, as far as performance goes anyway, unless you wanna run HFCs too.

 

after i install my intake..what else do i have to do to make it run smoothly? i'm not looking to install any other parts yet..

 

we could wait for the hunington beach GTG or sedan meet again, but if you guys wanna get an OCGs and SDGz meet i could talk to 2c and get things done
