7 Months? That's it?

I took a job overseas myself at the beginning of the year. Gotta make that money!

I should have my own house and boost. I'm going with a SC though.

^My last deployment to Iraq was 1 year, this time its the normal length (6-7 months). Marines generally have the shorter deployment schedules.

Good plan, I'm looking to do the same once my contract is up.

Originally, I was going to go with a SC because they're cheaper and easy to install, but they don't make much torque and are way too loud IMO. My goal is 370-380 whp/wtq which I can easily achieve with TT.

Oh yeah. Know all about it. I was with 3/4 out in 29 Palms for OIF1 (yeah that us draping the flag over the statue LOL), Fallujah in 04 (Damn, that was rough), and a POG deployment on 06 in Al Asad.

How's this group hosting the Palomar run? If they leave too late, I may just do my own thing. You said they were hauling the last time. I may just skip the desert and hit up Mesa Grande. No desert for me. Nothing to see out there except cops.

According to their schedule, they should be at the base of the mountain around 8:30-8:45. Looks like they are taking the desert, but I too would break away and do Mesa Grande. I'm still resolving the speeding ticket I got the last time I went through the desert.

you can easily get those numbers even with a single turbo! no need for TT unless you want like 450+ haha, but whatever you want, its your $$

I already know that......

1) I got the TT kit much cheaper then MSRP, cheaper then most single turbo kits
2) I wanted to keep both HFC's and my current dual exhaust

You're going to run high flow cats with a TT setup? Doesn't sound "ideal". Also, unless you already have a 3" dual exhaust, your current exhaust isn't ideal for a turbo setup either. The killer for going FI is not the individual kits, its the install, tuning and all that the additional FI mods that go with boost. Finally, I hope your G isn't your only car...

From my experience, any sort of FI isn't worth it if all you are going to make is around 400 whp. Any FI system adds any where between 70 to 100 lbs of weight to the already heavy front end of the G, so in exchange for whatever minor gains you get in a straight line you will sacrifice cornering speed.

HFC's will restrict the flow but am still debating on getting test pipes, I'll probably get some anyways. I currently have a 2.5" dual exhaust system which should be adequate. The kit I'm throwing on will be getting custom tuned and the G is not my only car. I'm only aiming for 370 because I intend to leave the internals stock for now. I've already considered the added weight and know an additional 120hp isn't going to be extremely faster, but I don't care, I'm not building a track car. Even though I will be going to the tracks every now and then.

Just installed some Still sway bars. Holy difference!

Took some advice from the 350Z guys and set it at full stiff front and soft rear for now. Gotta see what settings I like the most and what works with my suspension so far, tire sizes and tire pressures. Need struts next.
