Sorry guys. I was in Singapore and now we are building up our supplies to support our Japanese counterparts. You can google or watch CNN and see them talking about as well as showing my ship (USS Blue Ridge). I couldn't get a hold of my wife and kids for several hours. Trust, I was scared and tearing up. Luckily they are fine. Shook up. Now my little boys understand what a major disaster/earth quake is like. They had lost power until about 2am, but gas still worked so she still prepared a hot meal for the boys. She's awesome.

We are hauling butt to get back. I'm not on the bridge but I can just imagine the Captain telling the Chief Engineer, Scotty I need more power!

Thank you all for caring. I do miss the crew.

^Hope all is good! I'd bet it was frusturating trying to get a hold of the family.

I heard that ship is a nice duty station. I heard it was called "bldg 19" for some reason.

It was building 19 about 10 years ago. Trust, those days are long gone. The boat hits a lot of ports, but lately they have been working ports for the crew, but the staff gets it off This was going to be our first weekend off and well yeah, I'm glad that we didn't get it off, considering...

Yeah we went, got there around 7, left at 8. We all parked in the spectator parking area and not inside.
