Like Mark said, there are many weekly meets in SD, not just G specific or anything specific for that matter. SDCE is one of the biggest (if not the biggest) car clubs in SD with a mixture of everything because we simply don't care what you drive, come out and chill with a cool bunch of folks. It will always be difficult to get a specific car type get together in SD unless it's of the domestic type but then what fun is it when it's just that one type. Go to www.cargathering.com and look at the SDCE forum as there are always weekly get togethers posted on there.

Yeah I understand where your coming from but I went to a subie only meet with a buddy of mine a few weeks ago and it was a blast. I love my g and think its the only car worth looking/talking about as I'm sure most of you guys feel. So I want to do something similar with inifiniti's

best thing you can do is start showing up to established meets, let everyone know the ones you plan on attending and get more G/Z representation that way, then stem off and try a G specific meet

No harm, no foul bro. Trust me I wish we could get a G meet going in SD, problem is the ones who do show up are the ones who show up to the other ones as well. I recall the Tuesday night Sears meets and there would be more G's there (modified and non modified) than I even knew existed but where are they at now? They follow the crowds but unfortunately it's the crowd that attracts trouble and then the law shows up. We could try and organize something that's G specific like we do/did for the Irvine meets (which I believe still happen and I'm one who didn't mind driving up for it as well as Mark and Jay). We could do a Cars and Coffee Carlsbad G meet on a Saturday morning. Heck the domestic guys roll deep up there, why can't the imports do the same. Unfortnately I am out of the country for 8 more months but am willing to try and organize a meet for you guys even though I'm not there to go myself.

You need to be really careful driving Mission Center Road right before the turn into Fuddruckers because unless they have fixed that dip before the parking lot, it's not lowered car, tight turn friendly. Good place to have a meet there though as we used to hold our maxima meets there. You could also try In and Out either in MV or in Point Loma.

I agree
Definitely a good event to get a bunch of cars together. Plenty of parking, no issues with the cops, and early enough so traffic isn't a b!tch. Plus all of the businesses that are right there make that location fairly convenient. If everyone has a little self discipline to get their @sses out of bed in the morning that there should be no excuses

Id be down for a night meet every once in a while. Unfortunately, I work mornings (Friday-Monday) and go to school at nights (Tues/Thurs) so I'm never able to make it to any of the other meets, unless I request it off.

I plan on changing the color of my G37 19s. Any suggestions? I will not do black or matte anything.
