Can anyone recommend a good and affordable place or person who does a high quality job in or around San Diego?

Far from Daygo but check out Best Tint in Stanton. Ask for Jin, they tinted my windows for 120. Tell him you're on G35driver, he's on here too.

You can also check out Stereo City, it will be $220 for 7 windows though. Ask for Carlos, damn good tint job, takes it extremely serious. Will be from the top of the window, to all the edges, and down past the little weather stripe on the inside of the car. Very much worth every cent. Lifetime warranty.
