How about fixing my VDC OFF, SLIP, and ABS lights being on? Gonna need a brake job done sometime soon, pads are getting low.

I have the same problem. but it only comes on when in manual mode, with the VDC off. then all those lights come on and wont go off until the car is turned off.

Fixed the VDC OFF, ABS, and SLIP lights. It was nothing more than a god damn f'ing 10A fuse for the brake lights. WTF????? But anyway, I have not done brakes in about 25 years, so when I need a brake job I need someone to give a helping hand and all that crap. When I do this I want to replace the rotors with some cross drilled and slotted rotors, with braided brake lines, and new pads. Z1 has a package that is like $600 for all 4 rotors, 4 sets of brake pads, and the braided lines.

I have totally figured out what was causing the brake light fuse to blow. It was my center high mount stop lamp. I removed my rear shelf cover to sound deaden it, and forgot to dissconnect the wires. Pulled the wires right out and broke the little connetors on the assembly. I soldered them back together, but evidently my soldering job on that sucked. Today happened again, blown fuse after blown fuse. Dissconnected the stop lamp from the harness, no more blown fuses as of yet. So check everywhere for a faulty ground within your brake light electical system. Before I figured it out I call Kearny Mesa Infiniti, spoke with someone named Todd. He told me that if I brought the car in he would disconnect my entire stereo system that I installed because that was the reason the fuse kept blowing.

Uh, gtrefever, it does not ever get really cold here in San Diego ever. I am from Chicago if you want to talk about really cold. But your issue I have no clue about. Mine just took some back tracking my foot steps so to speak.

If you need a hand doing your brakes, you're more than welcome to come on over. I charge a bit less when the owner helps out with the work, and they get the experience and learn how to work on their car the right way. Let me know if you help and i'm always here.

Grant, not a problem, I have no problems with getting my hands dirty. I maybe a desk jockey but I aint scared to get dirty at all. I would do it all myself, but I have not had to do brakes in going on 20 years. So getting my hands dirty is no problem, when it is time to do the brakes I will pm you and set up a date and time with you and I will even pick up a 12 pack on the way.

Thanks

Grant, thanks again for hooking up the TPM sensors in my new wheels. Looking forward to having you install my coilovers and camber kits next week.

To anyone that needs work done, Grant is meticulous and does great work. I'll post some pics up next week after the install.
