I am now currently looking for a new job. I just found out today that they are going to be cutting back the number of us contractors, no thanks to the Navy cutting the funding. I told my company manager that she can start looking within the parent company now for a different position for me. I have a family and would rather keep making at least what I am making now. I have no idea of how much longer I will be working at my current position, but I do not want to be the one still there and then told sorry today is your last day. I am very savvy with computers, currently work as a functional data analyst. So I do not think that I will be able to make any of the meets anytime soon due to the fact of my current job situation. This sucks.

It is offical, Friday I rejoin the ranks of the unemployed. The lay offs begin, due to funding cut backs I get to lose my job. It was a government contract position on top of it. So now the US government is cutting back. Anyone know of anywhere hiring? I can not take anything less than $50K per year.
