I responded to his refund offer. We'll see what transpires.

I think my #1 peeve was that he just dismissed me from the get-go. When I told him about the paint problems, his response was along the lines of Thats how it is followed by "sorry bro". I was straight-forward with him from the beginning and gave him specific dates of when I would be available and he said sure. Then after driving south, he was no where to be found. The next day, I didnt have that much time, and yet even though he inconvenienced me the previous, he wouldnt drive 15-20 miles to meet up. A straight refund will just add to the time wasted on trying to get this spoiler from him and will result in absolutely nothing in hand + wasted gas + wasted time.

Overall, I'm hoping my time will count for something.

I will tell ya this though, I feel a little bit better about the price considering a truly "empty-to-full" tank of gas for our cars is $80. (20 gal @ $4.00/gal)

Suggestion - It is probably better for both to discuss the issue over the phone. Good luck. Peace...

Things have been resolved. I got $20 back, but more importantly, I hope he realizes where he went wrong. Thanks for your support.

Anyhow never buy something until you see pictures of the actual product, not pictures of it on a car from 20 feet away.

That is true. However after speaking with him in detail, nothing was said about cracking paint. :-/ .... and I had originally set up to pick it up in person, so a refund wouldn't have been a problem if I had seen it physically.
