Question Fender Rolling

I don't think it's been formally discussed amongst the group so would there be an interest in acquiring a fender rolling tool? The cost factor would be offset by a nominal charge to the members that want their fenders rolled and the group would maintain the tool for future rolls. Does anyone have any insight as to the cost of the tool? I've searched but have only come up with recommended shops or DIY guides using PVC and baseball bats. I'd like to get mine done so I thought I would find out if there was additional interest before I find an area shop.

Thanks

Well, I'd be happy to put up at least the cost of having a shop do it so the group could have their own tool.

Why don't we just have a group go to one of the local shops and get a group price on it?

We could but given that the tool is $250, the cost of 3 or 4 cars at the shop would have paid for the tool.

welp finally we are coming together as a group. Well I just had an idea. I recently tried to sell wheel spacers with no luck. They are h&r's and i guess the inner diameter isnt big enough to clear our hubs. I will lathe the hole bigger. After that I will weld a telescoping arm to the spacer and weld a rolling wheel (on an extendable lever)I plan to make a tool to roll g35s only. Its not that hard to make. I will keep you posted. If all turns out right we can roll fenders cheaper for all of us. With buying one everyone is going to wonder who and why a certain someone is keeping the tool.

Mike, that works for me and I appreciate you using the hub to manufacture the tool. Keep us posted.
