I was coming home from the gym and stuffs, and i see a lambo up ahead of me....

We get to a red light and i had my windows down, all i noticed was that the car is loud at idle, im wondering if all exotics are like that....you hear things working and it just sounds like a "machine".....guess its normal though, sounds good.

Anyway's we take off at the green and he didnt react as quick as i did, so im about a car length ahead of him....we are not racing, but i was about halfway throttle in first, so i was quickly getting to around 30mph. When i hear him give gas, so i obviously gave gas, we went to about 60, but i didnt gun it, about 80-85% throttle.


it wasnt a race at all, but its was interesting messing with him, we get to another red light and we look at each other and give a wave/smile...he lowers the window and i just say, "yea, your alot faster, im not eveng onna mess with it" in a respecting, but laughly voice...

What i really liked about it though is that he said "Yea, but dont worry, your car looks ****ing hot dude"....i said thanks, the light turned green, and we just went our ways......not even 30 seconds later, a black SRT-8 comes next to me, and obnoxiously rev's his engine at me and takes off.....i made a left towards home hehe...


Not sure why i made this thread, i guess i liked the fact i never get compliments about my car, but a lambo owner gave me one, and i think he truely meant it, not that he was just being nice or anything - his tone of voice made him seem very down to earth.

Atleast he wasn't a *****. A lot of Miami drivers don't react that way to anyone. I've given soo many waves and thumbs up from admiring someones car, losing or beating them in a race, and I get this dead str8 look.

What does your car have done to it? Performance-wise.

I have a PROcede V1.47 piggy back on my 335i, otherwise its pretty stock. I catch some nifty cars that wanna play, but when I win and roll my windows down, to give a thumbsup or wave, they always do a flyby, keep the windows up, or look the other way.

Really annoying, since I took the time out of my busy commute to play along with them. LOL...

+1. We get a lot of that here in Boston. People will pull up next to you in 70k+ cars and just give you nasty, snobbish looks like they are better than you. I'd rather pay for parts and do it myself than end up haveing to fork over thousands for simple things such as brakes.

 

my neighbor had a lambo and would tell me the same thing wen i got mine. he got rid of his though, he said people would follow him home at night, and he cared more about his daughter's safety than a car.

ur car is nice though

 

a lot of people that own exotics dont even know what they really have they just wanted it cause its a high ticket item
