dont bother, go TT. learn from my mistakes

even though it is a better version of the TN kit, it will still bottle neck when you way up the boost

^^ Please explain where, why, and at what psi this will happen. I've yet to see it happen and we've tested the PowerLab GT35R up to 650whp, the PowerLab GT37R up to 700whp and the PowerLab 76s up to 906whp.

I know for the price I might as well get a TT, but I wanted to know if anyone has every had this, or known someone that has this.

From what i've read, you can get as much from this ST than you can from a TT, but thats with any ST if you build it.

Please let me know.

On a Z you are very limitted with the TN kit but with a kit with a much larger turbo like this Powerlab kit(s), you can gain as much or more than the TT setups. The weak point of course will be your motor. Generally the main advantage of a TT setup over the Powerlab setup is the lag. these big turbo's have big lag (this is the same problem with any large single turbo setup). A few are running this kit on my350. I would run a search there. I don't know of anyone on G35driver who is running this kit.

I guess the F/I section here on Driver isn't as active as it is on My350z...

have you decided what power you're looking for? powerlab's st is finally another option to the big tt kits like greddy, aps and jwt. if you follow the supra world, you can see big hp cars running both setups. it basically comes down to what sort of powerband you're looking for. the tt has a little less lag like someone else mentioned but the big st really makes power when it gets started. good luck with your search.

btw jose, what kind of problems did you run into with your tn?

i dont want to go all out, just looking for at the most 420-425 to the wheels, around there. I am by no means a turbo guru, I have much more research to do.

^^ Not sure exactly where you live, but Performance Factory, in Orlando, is a PowerLab dealer -- and more than competent when it comes to doing builds of all calibers. Jeremy's the man over there, you may want to give him a shout. My thoughts..
