Your problem with high rpm breathing isn't your manifold. it is the tiny greddy turbine housings!!! You can't get great high rpm potential out of those tiny housings; it is like a log jam in the exhaust path.

If you are going with custom turbo manifolds, you should look into different turbos.

also, I think I mentioned it a long time ago......but you should take a visit to Performance factory or at least call Jeremy to discuss the FCon tuning.
What's up Andrew how is the car. One of the main reasons why I'm making these headers is the Greddy manifolds keep cracking from the heat. The guys at the Turbo shop sent with the work I had done and the size of the turbos pushing a 3498cc motor to 700 rwhp shouldn't be a problem. A set of equal length headers will only help that number but on only looking for around 600 to 650. I hear good things about Performance Factory but the guys at Japtrix have never done me wrong. My car to the maid 570 at Japtrix and a couple of weeks later at a different shop it made 612 it's just a different dyno not the tune.

Mike,

are you having that italian guy (with the shop 2nd lane) do the manifolds? I was checking out the cars he's building. looks like he enjoys building some really fast turbo cars!!!!!

I have had some problems with the cast iron manifolds. The manifolds have a tendency to crack on high boost applications more power more heat. Here are some pictures of the solution I came up with. The car will be running next week and after a short break-in off to get her tuned. Everyone keeps telling me the car is going to make good high in power with these manifolds.

Mike............good work!

have you ported the turbine housing yet? there's room for improvement in there. all these efforts should lead to lower pressures inbetween the head and the turbo.
