Joyriide Detailed: E90, E92, E83

Have not much of a chance to post. Been busy with all sorts of things and to top it all off I have a torn meniscus. None the less, I still have been working out (I shouldn't), grapple everyday, and have been detailing non stop. Sorry guys for those of you who I've worked on your car and did not take pictures, I know I promise photo documentation but sometimes my mom borrows my camera and I forget to get it back.

Joyriide Detailed- E90 328i

First up is one of my favorite car owners. Has his car detailed every 4-5 months and gets touch ups every 1-2 months, which is great because I get to monitor durabilty of my products. BTW, Zaino is one long lasting sealant.
No befores. Other than some light marring from washing and drying, this car was pretty nice as far as imperfections.

Interior

Meguiars APC (plastic, vinyl, and leatherette)
Meguiars #40
Meguiars Glass Cleaner

Exterior

P21S wheels cleaner
Meguiars Super Degreaser (engine, tires, wheel wells, jams, all weather mats)
Meguiars Hyperdressing 4:1 (wheel wells)
CD-2 Engine Detailer
Armorall Tire Gel
HTEC on exhaust

Meguiars Goldclass + Meguiars APC+
Claymagic Blue
Menzerna SIP via white pad @ 1000-2000 rpms
Meguiars #80 Speed Glaze via PC on grey pad @ speed 5
Meguiars #16 Pro Paste Wax

Next up is

Joyriide Detailed E92 328i

Brought to me from the owner of the previously detailed Montego Blue 335i Sedan, this car is driven by his sister. Caked wheels and moderate swirling, unfortunately, orders were to only polish the exterior with one step. Interior was wiped down and engine was not touched.

Exterior

Meguiars Wheel Brightner (I do not like resorting to this cleaner, ask me why.)
Meguiars Super Degreaser
Meguiars Hyperdressing 4:1
Armor All Tire Gel
Meguiars Hyper Wash + APC+
Claymagic Blue
Menzerna 106ff via grey pad @ 1200-2000 rpms
Klasse AIO
Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant

Before

During

Afters

Next up is the mother's X3. This car is a year old but not driven much. only 4k on the clock. Other than caked wheels and heavy rust blooms on the rear hatch, it was not bad. Orders were to protect the paint. Interior was wiped down and engine was not touched.

Exterior

Meguiars Wheel Brightner (ugh, I really hate using it, ASK ME WHY! LOL )
Meguiars Super Degreaser
Meguiars Hyper Dressing 4:1
Detailers Pride Tire Gloss
Meguiars Hyper Wash + APC+
Claymagic Blue
Poorboys EX+P
Poorboys Trim Restorer
HTEC (exhaust)
Poorboys Wheel Sealant

Before

After

(unfortunately, thats all I could do for these pitted exhaust tips).

Joy

'Looks great, as usual. Sorry to hear about your a torn meniscus. Funny enough, the first time that ever happened to me a few years back, it was when I was crouched down waxing the lower half of my car. It just happened out of nowhere without warning (man, that was painful!). Now, I always sit on a portable stool for those jobs to keep the stress off my knees. Was that how it happened to you?

I was drilling some techniques with a noob in my Jiu Jitsu class. I thought he knew never to crank a reverse heel hook during training as it puts a lot of strain on the knee, even if its for a second. Its one fo those moves that pain is not felt till its too alte, so naturally, during practice you avoid cranking it. Kid went for a reverse heal hook and although I tapped almsot instantly, the crank tweeked my knee really bad.

well a few weekends ago I was detailing and it was really hot. I tried to stay hydrated but water would drain right through me. I squatted down to hit a lower part of the car and "POP".

My ACL has a slight tear (should heal well on its own), but my meniscus is just gone. There is no corrective surgery, only removal, or replacement with that from a cadaver.

Sucks, but i still keep training. I'll adapt to the handicap.

Sure, you can swing by. Not sure if I'd be there considering I work Mon-Fri.

PM sent.

Which Jiu Jitsu school do you attend? Is it Pablo Popovitch's by any chance?
