WTF, Why is it so hot out???

I was coming home today on i95 at 1pm and I look at my temp gauge and see this



After cruising at 80 mph for a good 10 minutes and consciously watching it, it started to drop slowly but only to 97 degrees... Global warming is a b!tch.

Lol, mine does that sometimes too, I think its almost broken. Got up to 199F one time and went to 90 something in a few minutes.

LOL global warming???? ur kidding right??? u do know that global warming has only risen the overall global climate about 1-2 degrees right???

it's like it is reading the initial temp in the car when you first get in then gets the temp outside, just be glad we don't like in the desert

This is like winter compared to Dubai right Juan. Also the reason the guage reads so hot initially is the location of the sensor is picking up the radiant heat from yourr car baking in the sun, and then when you start driving it cools the sensor giving it a more accurate reading of the ambient air temps

There's no way it was that hot today, either your gauge is fd or it was sitting for a long time in the sun.

hey look at the bright side at least we have some kind of wind , last time i was in NY during the summer its like still heat with NO BREEZE, feels like a sweaty sauna .

But your reader is way off. Mine has gone to 101 and that was sitting parked by the beach in hot sun

I want to say because you are in FL...but I've noticed my gauge seems to be several degrees off too.

after driving it only went down to 97. I guess it finally crapped out after 5 years.
