Joyriide Detailed: GTI, Cayenne GTS, 335i Coupe

Have not had time to post thse up here. In fact I barely have time to take before and during pictures simply because I'm tired of spending all day detailing a car, so any time saved is good for me. I've even hired a helper for all my details, that way instead of spending 10-12 hours, I can bump it down to 6 hours max on full details. I'll clay the hood, and while I begin polishing it, I'll have my helper clay the rest of the car, vac the interior, buff off product, apply dressings, ect. Of course I give it all a final inspection but having someone do the miscellaneous aspects of a detail really makes it all worth it, even if I make less.

First up is a white MKV GTI. Owner drove a pretty long way to have me do it so I was honored to work on it. He stuck around and learned a bit.

Cayenne GTS

I went mobile for this one. Knocked it out in 5 hours. Car was in great condition. I was lucky enough to be able to detail inside the owner's A/C'd garage. No outside shots because it was raining pretty bad. I was hoping the owner would grab some nice shots later on in the day.

Owner took some pictures the day after the detail when it was dry outside and sent them over today.

Here you go!

This coupe was dropped off @ 1pm and was ready for pick up by 6pm. 5 hours and it was done! Owner unfortunately was not able to pick up his car until the following day, so the car spent the night in my garage. Pictures were takent he following morning.

Mmmm, man I love that Montego Blue. 'Looking great as always... BTW, ever tried Klasse AIO, followed by Pinnacle Sovereign? That's my preferred combo--shiny and slippery-smooth as ice when done.

Sick work man. Is it just me or does the BMW's factory paint seem to have some orange peel going on.

Unfortunately, that is how all of them come from factory now. A shame, but what can you do.

I've tried it on my own car before and liked it. Unfortunately, Pinnacle Souveran's durabilty isn't all that hot, so I have to swap for something with more durability.

You're not the first one I've heard say that, but I take my car to the DIY pressure wash every week and, 4 months later, she's still beading the water pretty good. It's not as smooth by then, of course, but the shine is still there, so I've been pretty happy with the combo.
