Dm2 Split / club changes
Via Mike aka Rpm06g35 this thread was created to explain to you guys what changes are going to be made.
Mike is no longer going to be doing work under the Dm2 name he will now be know as Mj motorsports. He will still be making and selling his top. Mike is the one who created all of the Dm2 coolant kits and spacers. If you want any of the products please contact him.
I will still be doing work on peoples cars do not worry, but as far as try to start a business producing products that is not anything that I want to take part of.
Mike's puts alot of hard work into his ideas, and products so I wish him success with that. Me personally I do not have time to deal with work like that. I will tho still be doing any installs that you guys need.
Mike is also not leaving the club, he is just not being involved with how the club is run anymore, he wants to take a backseat to the managment side of things.
What people do not know is all the hard work that I go through trying to keep this club together, everyone has there own personal issues that we deal with, unfortunatly there are some issues that I do not care to resolve. I think that as most people in this club are grown men that we do not need to come on a forum to discuss differences that people are having. If I see it anymore the threads will be deleted instantly.

however, ive got this to say. mike is pissed at me and danny for totally different reasons. heres my side of the story, and maybe i can get this resolved somehow. mike is my friend. i dont have anything against mike, other than the fact that he doesnt communicate well. im not trying to start an e war. im just telling my side of the story.
when i agreed to put mikes top on my car, the deal was i was to pay for parts, and give mike my OEM parts in return. so i picked up the parts, paid 75 for powedercoating, and then that was it. mike had my oem parts now. this means, when i go back to stock, ive got nothing. (key point)
then when mike was doing something with fuel rails they needed my stock injectors. fine. i gave them to danny, and danny gave them to mike. thats the last i saw of them. so who knows where they are now. (yes i got injectors back from mike but i never got my original ones back.)
fast forward to a few weeks ago. i decided, for personal reasons, to put my car back to stock and sell it. i was in need of stock parts. who was the first person i called? mike. i asked mike if he had stock parts becuase i told him i was going to put my car back to stock. he said no they were all cut. fine. ill find them on my own. so i made a FS thread, and put the top for sale at like 300 + trade. in all honesty, i just wanted to make the money that i put into it back. so a day or two goes by, and i get a PM from mike about the top. mike said i should raise the price to 600 becuase he thought that since i was selling it for cheap, people would think its a peice of **** and mike didnt want people to think that. its not a peice of ****, i just wanted to get rid of it.
so i decided to entertain mike and raise the price to 600. i started calling around to trade parts. you can ask freddie, alisha, and anhtuan. i was GIVING IT AWAY. i wanted no money for mikes hard work. all i wanted was OEM parts. i chose anhtuan becuase anhtuan helped me the night i tore my car apart, and even drove down to mike to pick up a set of injectors for me.
THEN this is where it gets INTRESTING. apparently, mike wanted my top all along. i never knew this. anhtuan told me that if he gave mike back my top, mike would make anhtuan a new one. why was i never told of this? if you wanted my top mike, why didnt you find me stock parts?
and i continue. mike brought it up to danny that i should be out of the club. why? 2 reasons.
1- becuase i go to school in tallahassee and i dont participate. this is not true. im one of the most active members of this club. ive driven down for meets and such before.
2- becuase im making money off people in the club. okay, you all caught me. i made money off every one of you that bought a valve. HEY. if you want the 5 dollars i made off you back, PM me and ill give you your money back.

im sorry to see you guys going through this. after being involved in the car club scene for over 2 years now, ive seen my fair share of drama. hell you guys were even a big part starting your own club. ive never allowed it to get to me because as long as you have more than 1 person involved, there will be disagreements. some of the coolest guys i met 2 years ago are nowhere to be seen now and thats how it goes. people leave and new people show up.
i guess my best advice to you guys is this: do what you have to do to handle your stuff but always put the club first if you want it to stay alive. the last thing you want to do is scare off new members. remember, we do this because we share a common interest and we want to have fun!

I dont want to make this a confession thread. Mike this has nothing to do with parts exchanges between you and I. Danny realizes that. But the name dm2 danny, mike and mike was started out of fun. My parts and the fab work created by myself are something I take great pride in and will continue to do. I dont understand why everyone is searching for a reason (or answers)for this name change. later mike
