I am not sure to be honest. I will have to call them to find out about electric. I think, I do recal electric in the shelters. We have had radio's before.

well im assuming they have outlets there but if not, i have an ac/dc converter for the car that i can bring just no microwave. LMK!

i dont mean to keep beating this dead horse but if we dont get a microwave out there alot of the dishes will taste like crap you know? I can bring a power converter and semi long extension cord if power is not available but someone else will need to bring the microwave. LMK John actually maybe ill bring something that doesnt need to be heated. i only see a few things that would need to be heated anyway! bahhh!

Quick Trick to Keep things nice and hot for transport:

1. Get a Cooler.
2. Any food that you prepare that requires to stay hot first place in an aluminum tray and cover tightly with aluminum foil.
3. Boil a Large pot or Two of water and poor into the Cooler. Give it about 10min or so and the boiling water will heat up the inside of cooler.
4. Now dump the Really freakin hot water and put in all the stuff you which to keep hot inside of cooler.
5. Now the food will stay nice and hot for a few hours...

to extend this even further.

6. Get a few Bricks and wrap them in foil. Now heat them in an oven on 450 for an hour or so. Now place them in a Foil Tray and cover. Stack the stuff above it and BAM... you have a Protable oven that will maintain your food HOT as Hell for a crap load of hours. Make sure that the Bricks are not directly touching any plastic on the cooler. Keep them Isolated. I usually put them in the middle of all the stuff I pack in the cooler.

This is a way to avoid needing a grill or Microwave.
