no u-turn ticket =(
just got a no u-turn ticket at 12:30am by the muvico off Sheridan on a pitch black road im sad =\
gonna try and take it to court - never done that so will see. ~

^if he's driving record is fairly clean, he can goto court and plea no contest, then he would have to just pay court fees, which are usually lower than the ticket

the u-turn sign i went back to see...its faded and hardly visible. ticket is 140, but im gonna go ahead and take it to court. it was 12:30, i was leaving the movies and it really was pitch black. will see, my record is spotless.

I don't know in Broward but in Miami-Dade County before the actual trial you are going to have a hearing with a judge. He will ask you if you want to take it to trial or resolve it right there for a reduced fine and no points to the license. Unless you have very good reason to beleive the officer won't go the the court try to solve the case right there. If you send a payment for a fine that's like pleading quilty and points will go to your record for sure.
IMO lawyer works if you have good record. Still I've seen them doing the same you'll do on court... standing there and pleading no contest. At the end you'll have to pay the attorney fees plus the reduced fine. Believe me I've been more than a few times there... I learned to drive the hard way.
