How is the gear/tranny noise? Backroads? On the freeway?

OK now I REALLY want one of these.

Do you think it'll help clutch shudder a bit as well? I get something that feels like wheelhop sometimes when taking off slowly from a stop (comp 6-puck clutch + 13lbs flywheel FTL).

It definatly does not help the clutch chatter, that is the nature of the beast with the lightweight flywheel. What kind of power are you putting down? the real test will be when I go down the track. I have done a couple mini test that confim that the diff is much more stable.

I didn't mean to imply noise. I get something that feels like 'shudder' in otherwords the engine/tranny shaking the whole car during engagement.

Only during light engagement / traffic. Launching is more or less fine except for wheel hop in extreme launches.

Would this be worth the time and money for a stock sedan? Any difference while driving as far as roughness or anything else?

Probally not, unless you drag race your car from time to time and exprience wheel hop.
