Mikes mount problem..
hey i have the mikes mount and the 8500 x50. I bolted it to the mirror and then bent the piece that goes into the mount everythng fits fine, but when im driving or when my bass barley hits it vibrates and makes veryy annoying sounds. doe snayone elses do this and is there a way to secure it down so it doesnt vibrate.
The reason i bouth the mikes mount was so my 8500 wouldnt vibrate when my bass would hit hard, now it is even worse...i need some answers..
Thanks!

There wasn't a way for me to fix that, I had the same issue. I just used double sided tape and got it to stick to the mirror. Doesn't look the best but it makes driving so much more bearable.
is it just vibrating? or vibrating and hitting the mirror? either way, easy fix.
1) wrap the metal piece in black electrical tape so that it fits snugly into the detector.
2) if its hitting the mirror, a small piece of double sided tape like canadian/red said or get 1 of those clear rubber pieces for the bottom of furniture and put it just under the mirror.

Make sure the hex bolts are securely tightened. I had hand tightened mine originally and the detector was secure.... until the bass hit lol.
Tigthen it with a hex wrench along with DSTape.
Jose, when's the BMW coming?
