New to the G

Just bought a 03 G. Loved the car, but did not realize the following till I did a few searches looking for some more upgrades. Was shocked at the following this car has.

Im here in Palm Beach. Im kinda on the border of being S Fla, but was interested in joining a group. Dont mind traveling a bit for some meet and greets, would love to have the opportunity to have some of you show me the ropes. Looking to fix some incomplete mods on my ride and definetly looking for some positive input from some people who have been around the block in these rides.

Let me know if I can join here or if I should head over to the Florida section. Would appreciate the info.

Chris

Thanks for the warm welcomes.

This week has been quite event filled. Got car on alignment rack and have been on the hunt for adjustable control arms. Havent decided what to buy, shopping frantically. Also need to find a clockspring, previous owner had an aftermarket steering wheel on this car and mangled the air bag connectors. And last but not least, 2 days after buying the car, I drop the car at a local car wash by work to have it "Cleaned Up". Yea I know what your thinking, and your right, they sprayed acid on my new Rays wheels. Well they are not "new" anymore and it looks like Im in for a long ride getting them "fixed". I think this car might be Christine. If it could go wrong, it seems it has!

As for mods, heres wheat it has so far:

Eibach Pro springs
DC Headers
Kenitx Down pipe
Borla full length exhaust
Underdrive Pulleys
Cold Air Intake system
Skunk ISO spacer

And of course a set of screwed up 20" Rays wheels!

And for the roadside sighting, wasnt me. Maybe the previous owned, but I doubt it, he was from quite a bit north of here!

Anyone got any suggestions for me, please postem up!

Thanks.

Chris

Welcome Chris. Give me a shout whenever you need anything in the area. PM when your car goes to Tom. I'd like to see it. There are some local meets that are near us that have nothing to do with SFL G club if you just wanna kick it. Theres a couple of us Palm Beach locals that go. Names Chris also

Chris, thanks for the welcome. I would really appreciate an opportunity to meet up for some stuff here in PB. I did make it out to PBIR a few weeks ago and met a few of the guys from the board. Was cool seeing their cars and getting some advice. As far as Tom goes, I'm still on hold till your project is completed. I'm gettin some parts together for mine before paint, so my project is slowly commin together. Im out in the Acreage, but I work over at Lexus on Okeechobee and the Turnpike. If you want to get together and toss a few back, give me a shout!

Chris
