Just hitting you all up and letting you know that in 5 weeks (june 5th) i will be departing with my friend on a 15-16 day excursion to Florida in my G.

We will be spending most of the week in Jupiter (and driving down to Ft Lauderdale, Miami, etc) then a couple days in Key West, and back up to Tampa and Pensacola.

Just hoping the weather is decent. Thescreensavers has been telling me june is the 'rainy season' so i am crossing my fingers that i get a little bit of nice weather.

Anyways, i hope to meet up with some of you while i'm down there and if you all have any suggestions on things to see, hit me up. I'm open to suggestions.

 

Well normally the weather is great until right around 4-5pm, that is when it starts to POUR like crazy but other than that it is good have fun driving down here.

Hell yea man. Hope you got some good photoshop skills to, because the holes where my front plate go are pretty unattractive lol

Luckily though, southern states are FTMFW! so my front plate will be gone the entire trip.

I would say drive by Gainesville for maybe an afternoon to see the University of Florida, amazing atmosphere and huuuuge campus. Eat at the Swamp Restaurant, and drive by Sorority Row at 3-5pm ( If you're old don't do it that's creepy )

Drive down and stay in Orlando. Go to Islands of Adventure. Get the Universal Studios pass and u get to go to IofAventure and Univ.Studios for the same price or something like that.

Go by Tampa, and check out the beaches in Clearwater, then there's a pretty sweet dueling piano bar...but I forgot where... I think it's Downtown something...I'm sure you can find out.

Then head east and visit Daytona. I went by the Raceway and it's pretty cool...haven't been there for long so maybe someone can fill you out on what to do in the area.

Then head to West Palm Beach, go to A1A (road that goes along the beach alllll the way south to at least South Beach), and just drive down all the way to Fort Lauderdale, go east on Las Olas Bvd to Riverfront (it's like downtown Ft Laudy).

Riverfront is a strip of nice bars that is pretty fun at night, specially on thursdays/fri/sat. If you go there make sure to go to AMERICA's BACKYARD.

Take one afternoon, pref. saturday and go to Ocean Drive in South Beach. Park your car, walk around Lincoln Road, and walk up and down the beach. You will see more **** and supermodels (or both...topless supermodles FTW) than ever in your life.
But try to act cool when they're topless... I know, it's hard.
You will also see dozens of sports cars and just overall ridiculous cars. I was involved with the development of a Mall in south beach called Fifth and Alton, and I would just walk to the beach at the end of the day and watch the numerous lambos just drive by. Great way to make me almost hate my car... no not really... okay for a split second kinda.

Head down to KeyWest, it's an amazing drive! Oh yeah there's a lot of gay ppl there, but they are segregated to an area that I forgot where, it's like west of some road. pretty obvious once you're there. Stay at a hotel kinda more east on Duval street and you'll just have a blast!

On your way up, just enjoy the scenery, and make sure to move to fla one day!

Thanks for the suggestions man. I put a few of them into my schedule thing (im not even old enough to get into bars so some of those suggestions wouldn't have been much use to me lol) but if anyone has anything else thats a 'must see' let me know.

anywhere in the keys should be pretty good. i went snorkling in the summer in a random spot in the west palm area and saw a bunch of fish

 

I am thinking about just pulling off the road and jumping in lol lets hope i dont get eaten by a shark.

(btw, thats a joke. I am an advanced open water scuba diver lol)

South Beach isnt the only place to look at nice women in the Miami area...... And unless he wants really uptight women, dont send him to Lincoln road.

 

^Agreed about other places, but it's pretty hard to beat how many there are. And they are def uptight... but I was kinda going for looks over personality since he's only gonna be there for a few hours
