i loved my test pipes when i had my g, i had them on the HKS exhaust and it was perfect for me - quite, no drone and it would scream whenever i punched it.

I have had the crawford HFC, and resonated test pipes....in my opinion, the test pipes didnt rasp unless full throttle compared to the other two.

And DEFINATELY go to miami mufflers - they have sick test pipes for the g/z's allready premade with the bungs for O2 - didnt throw any codes and they where 100% awesome stainless steel built.

I paid about 260 installed if i recall correctly

i had the titek test pipe with hks exhaust back in my NA days... loved it at WOT throttle... was pretty decent for cruise... if anyone complains about rasp at WOT then i think thas just ridiculous.

I have DC Sprot headers and Helix Test Pipes. Stock rest of the way back. Kinda throatly at idle and Raspy about 2500 RPM. Sounds pretty sporty for not alot of bux. Will be doin something else after the FI upgrade, but for now... I think any G owner would be happy.

Go for it Bro, you wont be disappointed. Additionally I am using a tune to mask the P0420 and P)421 Cat eff codes, but I see alot of people using the oil fouler method with decent results for MIL.

I don't think you get noticeable changes in sound from one test pipe brand to another. High flow cats and Test Pipes are two different things. Non-resonated (straight pipes) and resonated differ in flow, the first allowing for more flow. If you install Test pipes you can get rid off the Check Engine code (O2 sensor codes) with the installation of Non-Foulers (need two on each side, one drilled out). Ride with someone who has the set up you'd want to try and decide afterwards..
