you wont find many guys on here who are down with the chrome look. but its your car, so feel free to do what you enjoy. dont mod to the likes of others, do it for you. the rays look great as they come with a nice sized spacer and a drop, imo

there are a TON of pics here. do a quick search for "rays spacers" or look for the "oem 19s appreciation thread"

im not sure how much work you plan on doing but i would look into going with bigger spacers and rolling your fenders to get some nice fitment. nothing too crazy but most guys run 25mm spacers with the rays.

+1 to Drako. Definitely plan ahead. Saves you thousands.
I think stock wheels is a prerequisite for sleeper status.

Second Drako your recent monds look Sick !!!!!!
Its Like I'm embarrassed to even post pic's from now on lol!
Looks like I have some real thinking to do/ because I would like to drop in a twin turbo (in the future) but at the same time I would like a nice looking ride (like Drako ) but I didn't know that most of the modes I wanted would not work with a Turbo Smh!

True rookie mistake =)

With that being said The 1st thing at had will be performance, but I am reconsidering the turbo I was doing the math and it looks like its gonna cost me 5k+ which is not in my budget I'm looking to spend the max of $2,500 - $3,500 next month or Feb, (income tax lol)

but I was wondering do u run threw tires quicker after u lower it? b/c I dont want to run into that issue
Unless you are ready to throw down a good 10-12k, FI is not feasible. I would recommend a good exhaust system (which you can also use with FI in the future) and Z-tube/K&N intake. Buy some spacers, lower the car and get a front and rear camber kit (since you're concerned with tire wear). I think that would fit your budget nicely. Just my .02.

Wink

Like APSMike said... you can do some MODs that easily transfer over or are minimum cost if they don't.

You can do the following:
Z-tube/K&N intake
Plenum Spacer
Resonated Test Pipes (keep Stock exhaust since you like the sound... it will be beefed up after Test pipes and you'll have some gains since most power is lost because of the Cats)
Coil-overs
Front/Rear Camber/Toe Kit
Send your stock wheels to get extended like APS Mike did... (yo APSMike and other Mike... post some pics of the end result when this is done since you both did this with the 18s and 19s Rays)
Wheel Spacers

and call it a day for a bit all within budget if you shop right...

By the way... you won't even have to do much research on all this since lots of us have done this before and can lead you in the right direction. Learn from others mistakes...LOL

Also I didn't put much details on my page since noone asked but when done properly... you can lower a car and still keep stock camber if you spend the extra money on front and rear camber kits like some of us have done.

Looks Like you got me on the spot with what I had in Mind, I was Looking at Some ART Pipes what do you think of those???,
b/c I herd you get some real power from that, and maybe remove some of my cat's threw out my system,

On the Same not I'm thinking don't buy anything just yet b/c I know @ the meet, you guy's might have some catback exhaust that I like and might want to jump on to it (Im a bitter I know lol) https://g35driver.com/forums/images/...f:biggthumpup:

I try and listen to the ones on you-tube but its just that you wont get the real sound like you would get in person.
-As for Coil-overs I know its the best way to go but, but I mind just getting some springs, unless you could find me a good price on a good set =)
I don't mind spending the extra money on a front and Rear Camber kit b/c I don't wana run threw tires!!!! (if you can send me some links that you think is on my to do list )

and MikeAPs your wheels are stock!! they look sick!

And Richard, I don't have a Navi, if you know of a good system under $600 let me know, I know its gonna be hard to find something in that price range!

I hope the next meet is soon b/c Im dyeing to see some of your cars in Person!!!!!!!!
Im sooOo dammm happy I didn't go with a civic Si LMFAO

On top of everything ppl told you about, you should look into M Badges, Twin Turbo Stickers, and EuroPlates on the dash

On the ART Pipes you were asking earlier, I asked the question here a few days ago, and it doens't seem like anyone in South Florida has then. If you wait 'til tax return season, you might be able to use my car to see if you like them, because I might have a set by then.

Good luck with your mod decisions... 3K will take you pretty far if you prowl the Marketplace for the right deals

welcome, looks like you have lots of info to sort thru regarding mods

if you plan on doing FI in the future, just do the basics, like a true-dual exhaust, some coilovers, new rims (you need wider than stock for sure)

lots of fun ahead
