So as luck will have it, the rear main seal is leaking.



Therefore, I brought her back out of retirement until Saturday.

Damn Mike... sorry to hear about all $^%$%^$. First the damper pulley and now the rear main seal... sheesh I was about to ask you how the car was riding now with new clutch...

WOW. better shut her down son. All it takes is a few drops to impregnate the clutch disk and its focked. But yeah you for sure u dont want me shouting "man he is running slow" (and then the video gets cut off where i keyed on clutch slippage) BUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Talk soon brother long live the dsm!!!!!!! What up, Mike! Hope everything is good with you and the fam.

Yeah. I shut her down and resurrected DSM power for now. Just came from the dealer and bought another rear main seal and that POS, half moon oil pan gasket. We'll see tomorrow when I take her apart....again.

Lesson learned! See folded up seal on the upper left quadrant. SOB! It won't happen again. Replaced the RMS and a new satan's oil pan gasket (without dropping the pan). Checked for leaks and not a drop. See video links below.

So how did it turn out.. Did everything go back in with no problems? Any oil on the ground or anything. Thanks again.. nice meeting some of ya family..

Finished her up last night. No leaks and driving smooth. Don't mention it. My grandma got a chance to practice her English.

Any suggestions or tips you can help me out with? I am doing the exact same thing this weekend. I am putting in a new RMS and JWT clutch and friction plate on the flywheel. Thanks for any help.

Mike please tell me that is an old pic and that you replaced the pilot bushing? That picture up above looks like its about gone. Please tell me you replaced that cause it look like kaka. Talk soon bro
