So I went ahead and changed the front and rear main seals.

After inspecting the damper pulley, I see this:

Now I know where all the oil was coming from.

Tell me about it. I saw it right before I went to reinstall it.

It's the HD pressure plate with the full face street disc. The same clutch I had on there before. It held my power and lasted 75k+ miles. I swear there was still a good 50% life left on the disc. Pretty amazing. Have always gone with ACT, all the way back to my DSM days.

I'm gonna be installing a nismo fly as well. What are your impressions as far as "chatter"?

So far have noticed some "chatter" accelerating in the lower rpm range in 2nd and 3rd gear after downshifting. But none at engagement.

Chatter goes away in my experience. I installed a sprunged 6 puck ACT disk on a Exedy pressure plate.

Mike, car looks good, did you paint it as well???

I don't really have something to compare it to. But it's not too bad.
