Chris's CB Build

For the most part I have been a lurker for the past several months, but that does not mean I have not been busy. I had debated waiting the a formal unveiling, but the anticipation has gotten the best of me.

As most of you know I bought my G used in early 2010. I love the car, but I had to make it my own. I submitted a picture early on for the car of the month, some of you might remember this picture:

I cleaned the car up pretty well and made some small mods that suited me, but it was still someone elses ride. In October, I got in a little fender bender. That always sucks, but some of us look at it like an opportunity. If you ask my wife, I tend to go a little overboard, but what can I say. Here was the damage:

So I started to scour the forum here looking for what it would take to make this car my own. I like the color, so a color change was not in the cards. Alot of cool body mods, but I had to keep it as a daily driver and had to have a reasonable build time. So here is what I came up with. Please excuse the photo skills. These are shot with a Nikon D90, but in untrained hands, it is a better weapon than a camera.

Next, I going to be hooking up with Danny, making some room for some new shoes and working on the wheel well gap a little, but keeping in mind, I live on a dirt road, I am not going to be able to go wild.

I am happy with the results so far, but this is always a work in process. Maybe Air suspension and some VS-XX wheels and I might be happy for another week or so!

Give me your thoughts!

Chris

looks great, but I do have one suggestion, you should paint the mesh on the Chargespeed rear black. It would look super clean

Love CB. Looks great man. Fail on the Infiniti Skyline 350 GT badging. I think either a full debadge or Infinti badging would b better.

Not a fan of the badging either, but everything else looks sweet!!

And pretty nice trucks and boat in the background. Donzi or Scarab?

Very nice, a black grill would flow well with the black front and hood vents

VSXXs are nice, but the GTCs are looking good too!
