Noticed there wasn't much going on in here lately but I was always interested to know what car/truck members drove before buying their G35/37/25. Also what car they almost bought or was thinking of buying before settling with the G and why.

I drove a 1994 Nissan Hardbody (D21) Pickup and a 1998 Mazda 626. I was looking at a 2006 Nissan Maxima and almost bought a 2006 G35x. I always wanted a G35 when they came out and especially after hearing one. The sound was so unique.

 

I used to drive a jetta 1.8t before I bought my G but almost bought a sti. Then found out how much insurance was

I used to drive a Nissan '92 300ZXTT before I bought my G but almost bought another Z. I would have to but my wife insisted we needed a back seat....yes dear! lamo

A friend who was a pure *** car enthusiast had an EVO VIII and sold it to get the Pontiac G8 which I guess you can say is the successor to the GTO. I rode in a GTO so I know the appeal there.

So now that you have the G would you still prefer the STI?

 

I use to drive a 93 Lexus SC400, and I still drive along with my new G a 06 Crown Vic police interceptor.. I wanted a BMW 335i but got tired of saving and settled with the G. Im happy with it though..

Traded in my 08 altima coupe 3.5 for my g35. Was gonna get either a 350 or 370z.

Right now my fav. is the G. Im in love with it.. lol.

I use to work for Miramar PD, civilian not a leo. Now I work for AAA Emergency Services as a locksmith. Way better pay..lol. Still can't get rid of the Crown Vic, its 2 much fun.

Yeah they are fun to drive. They give me one everytime I travel to training out of town!!
