FGC Mega Meet at Ft. Desoto ~ Sunday, March 25th 2012
What: Ft. Desoto BBQ meet
Where: Ft. Desoto Park - Pavilion #13
When: Sunday, March 25th 12:00pm - 6:00pm
Who: G's, Z's, and friends!
Cost: $10

This will be the first OFFICIAL FloridaGclub bash of 2012!


We are asking that everyone contribute $5 to help cover the Pavilion rental and food. No one needs to bring any food unless you want to bring extras! There is a no-alcohol policy, so BYOB in a red solo cup and drink at your own risk.... They will probably kick you/us out so that's your warning.

Also, it will cost $5 to park.


This is shaping up to be a BIG meet!!!!

Well the "feeler" thread is up... We are wondering if everyone prefers Saturday or Sunday. Ian suggested the weekend of March 17/18 or March 24/25.

Awesome! As it sits right now, we are leaning towards Sunday, March 25th. $5 to cover food (and maybe an additional $5 if they charge for parking). We are probably gonna do burgers, hot dogs, chips, soda, and beer.

DeSoto doesn't charge for parking but from what I remember there is a toll station going in thats less than a dollar.

$5 Parking fees for Fort De Soto and Fred Howard parks are slated for 2012. Annual parking passes are $75 or $55 for those over 65.

According to either Chris or Mike they implimented the $5 fee recently.
