I finally got the opportunity to move out of the God forsaken DC metro area and will be moving down to Miami this summer. We're looking at living in the North Miami, south Broward County area. I will be working at the seaport on South America Way. We've never been south of Orlando and are excited for a new adventure. We'll be bringing my G, his WRX and unless we get it sold first, my MR2.

Real estate is so much cheaper down there compared to the d.c/md area. Especially with the foreclosure rates, you can get a great deal on a house now.

 

Yeah, maybe a motorcycle too. I agree, housing is super cheap. I can get a townhouse the size of my apartment for a half a mil up here in the DC area or a McMansion on the beach for that price in Miami.
