Cusco a-arms

i got my Cusco a-arms last week and i installed them this past weekend. Fit and finish were of course, excellent. installation was pretty straightforward, but you're going to have to remove your front spring/shock assembly in order to torque down the a-arm bolts that go into the frame. this step was the most difficult part of the installation.
now, as for the adjustments. yes, there is only 1 setting for positive, and 3 for negative. definitely meant for an autocrosser or die hard canyon runner. i have yet to get an alignment to see what my final camber setting is. i will be adjusting the ride height again before i do this. not for corner balancing, but to get the "look" i want. i know there has been a lot of "discussion" about the ability of these a-arms to get you back into specs. the max spec is -1.25, and if you are within' half a degree, then you won't be experiencing that much more tire wear than if you were at max spec. i know there are some of you out there who will accept nothing else, and that's fine. but if you're not going to go that low, or could deal with "close-enough-to-spec," then these are a great alternative to the much pricier a-arms out there.

i'm still tryin' to adjust the ride height so it's as close to even as possible, both sides, front and back. there is a 0.63in difference (16mm) difference between front and back. it's really tricky to get the ride heights jus' right with coilovers!

Stock camber on a G35c is -1.3 maximum. Slightly more more negative is a good thing actually, as it helps turn in response. You can go up to around -0.3 or so more negative than stock, without affecting tire wear dramatically. Toe has a much greater affect on tire wear than camber does.
I know several people who have gone from approx. -2.5 to -1.6 with the Cusco A-arms.

thanks andrew. sorry that i didn't end up gettin' from you after all. i jus' couldn't wait the long time it would take to get here. i did end up payin' a little more, but they were here in less than a week. thanks for all your help though, and again, sorry 'bout the d!cK move!

to the contrary though, there is much need to apologize. i've been talkin' so much ish that i was going to order from you, wasting time. in the time that i kept sayin' i was goin' to get 'em from you, they could've been halfway here!
it's jus' that i wish your company would keep more stuff, a lot more stuff, in stock. it jus' makes it so much easier for the consumer. some would rather pay than wait. companies take advantage of that, and sometimes we do retaliate by waiting. it's all about convenience factor in my book.
ps-don't worry, as soon as i get the ride height jus' right, i'll be sure to get an alignment and post up some results.
