Happens in this thread over and over and over and over....

Somebody posts a really high mileage, a few people complement them, then for reasons beyond understanding people come in and post 40, 50, 60k miles until the 200k+ mi posts are buried again

Why? What happened? How did the decline of the transmission begin?

read post #35, I assume he worked for Nissan/Infiniti.

I cleaned out my throttle body, which was filthy, and increased response but my engine keeps randomly dying at idles. that whole thread is about ppl that have that problem :/ but it just started at like 185xxx miles...

I feel like I trust the first gen sedans more with higher mileage than the 2nd gens. I dont know if there is much different before the HR and DE, but it seems like people are going higher mileage easier with first gens than the second gens. A couple people already had their engines poof on them in the 2nd gen areas without even breaking 100k.

2004 6spd with 193,750 miles and the FIRST sedan with a Momentum Single Turbo kit on it. Mobil 1 oil and nissan filter changed every 3-4k miles since brand new. It also made 386rwhp and 382tq today on 8psi on the Momentum base map.
