You can cut off your existing cable and connect it to the back of the metra.
Easiest thing to do is crimp/solder on something on the end and slot them onto each pin.

do you have a write up on how to do this, or maybe even a pin diagram.. bought the metra kit didn't recieved the cable.. your help would be much appreciated. I have search endlessly for info on this .

bumping this thread in case anyone did find a solution possibly. Having the same issue currently
