Exclamation Bbk akebono swap sandblast

Crazy title.
I have 06 6mt g35 and I always wanted the brembo brakes
I've been looking and luckily found some akebono calipers and rotors off a g37
I used the SEARCH button - blue dream
And i found a old thread how to do it by buying the brackets

I'm going to powder coat them red?

And I'm pretty sure my current rims won't fit so. I got my stock rays sandasted to repaint them...
They were painted gold when i got the car and I painted them 2 tone Brandywine and black but it was peeling..... When they painted it gold they didn't prep it right so I just decided to start from bare metal.

I'll update as I go

That's how I painted them but they were chipping from the previous paint job not been done right:[

Might as well buy new tires...$:/

These wheels are extremely light compared to all the other wheels I have so painted them to match my car so they won't look so stock

See what you can find when you try just a little?

Can't wait to see the final result of the wheel/brake combo, I'm betting it's gonna be money.

Make sure to order shorter banjo bolts (if you didn't already) for your brake lines. You'll need the shorter ones in order to run your current brake lines with the akebonos or else you'll be spraying fluid everywhere = giant mess and no braking ability. You'll need to swap out all 4. I got mine from Z1

Should I order new ones? Or do you think they'll peel off when there removed?

They can probably be cleaned up, but you would have to take them off.. Make sure no paint got inside or they will be a pain to bleed..
