Went to Kentucky and back to visit my kids. No issues as usual, 26-26.5 mpg with average speeds a little over 70. Also hit 150k miles on the way back today. Note the fuel level and mileage on the trip computer, I have no doubt that tank would have been pushing 27 mpg if I didn't hit Dallas at the peak of rush hour. Speed limit was 75, troopers generally don't bother if your 5 over or less.
Is the manual noticeably better on gas or is mine just a hog in comparison?
I'm lucky to break into 21mpg I believe it is when I do a 400 mile trip on the highway to visit my parents. I'm trying to remember the speed, maybe 77 to 83 MPH most of the way? I tend to do about 7 over which seems to match the flow and have never had an issue.
I do have a faulty gas level sensor which makes my gauge useless, but I don't think it is actually messing with fuel consumption.

I think the mileage is supposed to be similar. My '02 Maxima was an automatic and mileage was similar.
I got the front sway bar endlinks installed finally, new JWT clutch and flywheel, as well as, the slave and master clutch cylinders installed.
I feel really good, and man does that clutch grab! No more pedal sticking to the floor, there is less clutch pedal travel, 1st gear pull is way harder (trying to keep the rpms low for initial break in, but that is deeming difficult).
People talk about the chatter at idle....mine is non-existent, however it feels like the under carriage of the vehicle is going to explode if I am in second gear under 2k rpms. Overall, JWT has been a great experience.
Looks great, I say black gloss roof would look fantastic with it. How come you didn't go ahead with the door handles too? I've been meaning to black out my chrome with Avery most likely, interior too. Did you do it yourself or had it done
Installed Megan Racing coilovers on my 06x. I really didn't want to get coilovers, but the uneven drop on the X model sedans drives me nuts.
All in all I didn't go for completely slammed. Just 1 finger gap all the way around. I'd say about a 1.75" drop all the way around over stock. With the crap roads here in the Northeast, I'd say the ride height is perfect now. I just wanted to close up that monster truck gap.
I'm in love with that setup. Wheels, brakes, coil overs. The Megan color scheme is perfect. Care to share the wheel and tire specs?

Door handles would look cheesy in any other color but the factory paint color. As far as the roof goes, I've seen some of the vinyl on other cars swirl up and that's absolutely unacceptable to me. Plus I live in Texas, having a light colored car is much better in the summer.
I had it done. Did the same on my Accord myself about 3 years ago with vinyl tape. It looked okay but durability isn't great. Actually taking the Honda down in the next week or two and having them redo it properly.
