So in this first picture, you can see the seat is situated all the way up, there is no way i can slide it back

The second photo shows the plastic trimming in on the driver seat

as you can see here, the bolt to the front is completely encased by the seat, since i cannot move the seat back this puts me in a jam

just showing the front bolts and how its slid all the way forward

back of the driver side seat

Yep, I see what you mean, lemme dig through my photo's and find some of my seat when I had it torn apart, it should shine some light on things.

Good news is you found your MetroCard!

I'm pretty sure the drive motor you're looking for is the one mounted under the front right side of the seat. I can see mine when looking from the front, connector is accessible (motor too) by removing the plastic trim.

Also, here are a couple other views so you can see where the bolts are is you want to continue down that path.

Here is a shot of the backside of that plastic trim on the side.

Hope this helps.

so since I can't unbolt the seat from the front, is there any way we can manually slide the seat back?

EDIT: added video

Yeah, if you remove the motor I think it's a 10mm to move the worm drive and you need to alternate sides, gotta do them independantly.

EDIT: Someone made a youtube video here, that way you can see what it takes.

You could do the above post to manually adjust the seat for the time being. But I am almost sure the switch that moves your seats got water in it and no longer works. It is a delicate switch which stopped working for me after I was detailing with degreaser around that area.

If the switch isn't sending power you can try an aerosol can of electrical contact cleaner, and just spray it as far into the switch as you can, I've had great luck with it in the past but be warned it is some HARSH SMELLING STUFF! You definitely need a well ventilated area.
