RWD or AWD (X)

Folks,
Looking to buy a used G37 and trying to decide if I want an AWD (X) series G37 or a RWD version. I am also considering an IPL version of this car but not sure if I want to spend the extra cash for the IPL

thoughts and feedback welcome

Cheers

does it snow where you live? awd stuff is just more things to break and maintain and get in the way when you're working on something else and it's heavy. i wouldn't have an X if i didn't need it for snowy weather.

Exactly what he said, do you need the AWD for snow/winter driving. If not then get the RWD because that's the only way you can get a real transmission ;P

G35x
This is the truth. I have a g35x when i lived in new england for snow moved down south no need. The AWD transmission weighs considerably more and there is another differential that the oil has to be changed in.
Drive em both and decide. I love the way my g35x handles but i never drove the rear wheel drive version. Gas mileage is atrocious at 17mpg super only.
