2006 g35x Bose with nav system

My year make and model is in the title. Does anyone know where I can get a double din faceplate that will work with the factory nav system? I found one on amazon, but I’m not sure if it will work. https://a.co/d/0bkIHIi5 Here’s the link for it. At some point I’m going to get rid of the nav system but I just want to make sure it will work for me for now before I spend $300 on it. Thanks guys

Not a direct fit. That's the non-navigation trim, and is about 1/8" too tall. The navigation won't close right. You will have to get a JDM trim kit and climate controls, or carefully modify that aftermarket one... which looks like old Metra-branded one from the picture, but they list a different manufacturer. Metra updated the finish at some point and it looks closer to stock with this one:
Amazon.com: Metra Electronics 99-7605A '2005-'2007 Infiniti G35 Single DIN Mount : Automotive Amazon.com: Metra Electronics 99-7605A '2005-'2007 Infiniti G35 Single DIN Mount : Automotive
, and is also a few dollars cheaper. It still is too tall to fight right, but it can be modified if you set up a good straight cut.

Refer to the main radio upgrade guide post for details - Wrathernaut's Double-Din Installation FAQ, Shopping and Resource List - G35Driver - Infiniti G35 & G37 Forum Discussion

NissanRaceShop and ConceptZ performance have the JDM DDin trim still listed for sale, but it's up to almost $500 nowadays, since it's been out of production for quite some time. They come up on eBay or the marketplace here. I still have my radio setup for sale in the marketplace, but since I did a total aftermarket upgrade (speakers, amplfiers, woofer, etc) you'd still need a couple parts (PAC ROEM-NIS2 and a steering wheel control adapter) to get it working.

If you're actually anywhere near me or want to drive to central PA, I can help with the install too. It's been a while, but I still wrote the book in the install for these cars.

Okay so I've decided to go with this setup. I have a sub/amp that I will be using so I don't believe I need the PAC NIS2. I also plan on doing some necessary modifications and losing the factory nav system as i will be using that slot for a custom gauge setup. Is there anything else I need to install the head unit? I want to make sure my setup goes as seamlessly as possible without having to order more parts and have my dash torn apart for a few days. Thank you.

Everything you need is listed in the thread I linked.
Is your amplifier being used just for the subwoofer? You still need an amplifier for the other speakers.
ROEM-NIS2 if you're keeping the Bose amplifier powering the door speakers, metra 70-7550 wiring harness if you're putting in an amplifier to power the speakers as well.
Steering wheel control adapter.
Antenna adapter.

Okay I got the speaker integration in my cart, it says 95-02 Nissans but I read the reviews many people used it in their 2006 sedans so I think I’m good there. As far as the radio antenna I don’t use the radio I only use Bluetooth so I’m not gonna get that. And the steering wheel control integration is currently unavailable, based on the title I think it’s safe to assume I don’t need it if I don’t plan on using the steering wheel controls. Is that correct? The kenwood head unit says it also has factory steering wheel controls in it so I should be good, it also says it has a built in amp?
