anyone wanna meet up in the LA Area somewhere and go watch Tokyo Drift June 17th? i think it would be nice to avoid the "big" crowd, opening night... and at the same time show up with a good "G'd" up pack....but all cars are welcome!

i'm going to suggest the meeting place to be the Northridge Fashion Square Pacific Theatres... in the 818 / valley....

i live in the 310 area [pacific palisades, around santa monica]... but i think the valley has better streets to cruise and bigger parking lots to offer to hang out in...

so yea...i'll start a list... and i'll update with movie times as i gauge interest... but i'd like it to be at night time...

cmon now...i KNOW more people are going to go... as much BAD hype the movie's going to get... there are 2 350Zs in the movie tuned by a local shop to me... and plus, its finally concentrated around japan and actual asians..lol...

The film was 95% filmed in america and a section of downtown was turned into japan for a few weeks for the shooting.

I think japanese goverment said no to them shooting in japan... :P

word...i can probably see why...japan's traffic is said to be like Time's Square... but, i'm pretty sure at least some scenes are fairly accurate to how it is over thurr... anyways... i know i am going to enjoy the movie... if people want to hate on it, because of the past fast n furious movies...so be it... i still enjoy watching them for the action... it's kinda like watching a shootemup movie and saying that "you cant really shoot an AK with that accuracy" or something of that sort... it's really gonna suck the fun out of it...
