actually I am shopping for 4x4 so I can take it when I go boarding. I just picked up boarding this season so I have been driving a piece of crap probe to and from MT High. I am in need to buy either light truck or SVU to drive in the snow

Yeah, boarding's the only time I wish there was a nice 4x4 in our stable. Even then, I musn't let the sporting nature go too much. Something along the line of a Porsche Cayenne Turbo S!

I must agree, most SoCal riders are jackasses. I think cuz most of them are punk kids who think they are the ****. I almost got into 2 fights at Mt. High last season =X I think Bear is OK, they have a lot of park for all skill levels. Bear/Summit has better snow than Mt. High. Mt. High is just close, thats about all I can say about that, hahaha. That and the season pass is dirt cheap.
Mammoth is actually about 2hrs closer than Tahoe. I went to both last year, and Mammoth is definately a little bit better of a drive. Mammoth is a better mountain anyway.
And I've taken my G to the snow before!
