Mammoth Snowboarding Run anyone?

Hey, I'm going to Mammoth in 2wks. The lift is open from 0800 to 1530. I was there last memorial day wknd and they still have decent amount of snow. They plan to be open 'til 4th of July wknd. If anyone is going there the same time as I am, we should hook up and make it a cruise. PM me.

When? Friday 23rd of This month/ comming back the next day

What time? Leaving Rosamond around 4 in the afternoon ( can be flexible to a certain point)

Ugggh ... I broke my binding a few months back at Kirkwood. Guess I won't be able to go. I heard some people were at Mammoth last week and the conditions were apparently decent!

Well, I didn't get hooked up with cruising, but the drive was fun going there. I spotted a DG coupe just like mine (except it was stock) on the way so I was in front of him and behind him like for 40 minutes and then he decided to stop by chevron at Lone Pine.

The snow was slushy so didn't go down hill too fast. It was hot. Only the two gondola and one lift chair was open. Broadway and Face lift were the only trail I went on. Not a lot of crowd, but some.

Well, I will be waiting for the next season I am going to try kite boarding for the summer now

Not yet, but it's been on my list of things to do. My right shoulder just barely started to feel better from the bad spill on the slope (months back).

Soooooooon, I hope! Where do you kite board at?

ROFL ... silly girl! jk

Don't be embarrassed. That's actually a good way of getting your kite control down first. There are some nice spots down at SD too.

Good Luck, and don't get thrown into the air too much.
