It doesn't really matter if the car is stock or not. I went to Willow Springs for a track event and there were built G's and Vipers, other supercars, and I forgot what his name was, but he tracks on the Streets of Willow at least once a month. Well anyways, that day he rented a G sedan from Enterprise, because he wanted to see how it did. And he was doing better than most of the others out there.
So with all said and done.. it's mostly driver, rather than the car setup. Car does have a keen sensibility for conditions... but canyons and tracking is mostly about driver.

Aw man I wasn't planning on going when I first saw this post at 8am. But changing the time was great. But my car will still be in the shop at that time getting repairs. I don't think showing up in my rented Chevy Cobalt (crappy *** car) is gonna do the trick. I was planning on doing one since I missed out on the last one. Oh well next time.
