Hey Hai,

I have an idea that may help keep track of people who paid and those that just wanna check out the cars, not eat, not participate in the raffle.

I'm pretty sure that some people wanna bring their significant others but they just wanna hang without having to pay the $25 just to chill.

For those that bring their cars (the ones on the list) and who do eat, join raffles, models shots, obviously pays the $25.

Why don't we "stamp" the back of their hands like they do at clubs, so that way we know that they paid and they can get food and all the fun stuff. We just have to get a stamp thingie from the store... (maybe a "My Little Pony" one so it's not so generic...

)

Anyways, just a suggestion (I don't mean to tell you how to run your event or anything).... just a simple suggestion, I'm cool either way....

I'm sure it'll be an awesome day! Thanks again for organizing this!

I'm thinking about that but how do I know how many people are eating? I need to get a good head count of the people eating for me to get enough food for the ones that are eating and stuff...It's not like a don't want other people to not come out...This is a G35 meet too and we already have 90 cars coming. There's going to be a lot of people....If I don't get enough food then that would really suck for the ones that paid. I really want to give the fellow G guys the best experience and make it worth their money. i don't want people to go home and say dude that BBQ sucks and there were not enough food for that price. Hence the reason for the raffle and sponsors...If not it would just be a potluck BBQ which was harder to organize mostly when you get this big...For the Potluck BBQ everyone wants the cheap way to contribute...."I'll bring cups or napkins..."

But anyways...I understand what people are saying...Oh, since it all you can eat...Please don't try to cheap out on us...Don't pay for yourself and get food for all of your buddies...That's not fair for the people that did pay...I wanted to avoid that too...But this is what I'm going to do...

Can everyone edit the list and put how many people they are bringing. Please put if you and the guest are planning to eat or not...I need to know to get enough food for everyone...

For those who don't know what it takes to organize this kind of meet. I spent the following last year:

200 bucks for reservation
150 bucks on food

and that's a Potluck BBQ...For those that just paid when they came help me recoupe the money. But last year was only 45 cars and there were a lot of people that paid more then 20 dollars worth of food to make it work. I have to give props to the ones that help me get the main courses last time...There were people that help cook and people that bought their own recipe...

Last year we had 30LB of chicken, 15LB of Beef, another 5lb of korean BBQ...Not including other dishes other members bought out. This year I'm estimating about 30lb or more of Beef and more on chicken and some Korean BBQ and I need to figure out the other dishes too. Trust me I'll make sure you guys are happy or I'll try my best....I'm not a 5 star restaurant tho....haha...

Or do you guys want to do this as a Potluck BBQ? You guys decide and decide quick because I don't have time to organize it if you guys lag on the answer.

no way on the potluck BBQ Hai, yur doin it perfect as it is. $25 is a great price for all the stuff that were going to have there. And i'm going to email or make a CD for whoever wants it of the shots of their cars with the model or them or whatever pics they want. I'm going to take atleast 500 pictures at this thing
