Last time I went to LACR in February my best 1/8th time was 9.551..
the only thing I've added since then was a JWT clutch/flywheel and it has helped me quite a bit.

Good runs people...
The wait was horrible; too many cars and accidents. Only got 3 runs.
I was so not used to the track. By the time you basically line up, you have to be ready to gun it.
I only got 1 decent run. It was 9.5 with a weak 2.3 60ft.
I feel more confident about Cal Speedway after these runs though. I just hope they give you more time to launch. Irwindale op's are too in a hurry to get everything moving

Nice meeting everyone last night! Thanks for posting the pics Peter - don’t be a stranger (lurker
)... My best was 9.201 (2.190, 60'), coincidentally this was against Wally during his best 9.090 (2.132, 60') - I had another 9.214 with 2.191 60'... the other two runs were ****. Too many track issue and cars falling apart, spewing oil - trying to cut off Wally (which cause a HUGE delay in my run right after him, it's a longer story than this).
All in all it was a good time, just damn long waits. I guess it prepares us for CA Speed which apparently will be even LONGER wait!
I left around 9:20ish... was in line for a final run but someone lost their transmission on the track - I had an early meeting this morning so I got out of line and left... Wally did you end up running that last one?
