HA!!!! I knew that would get you! It's true - 7 runs... I was consistently in the 9.1s... best was 9.123 with a 2.168 60'.... BUT, I think I had a faster run but all I know is the 60' was 2.165 - the track didn’t print the rest of the numbers because of some glitch... could have been because someone red lighted that run (ehhemmm, right WaLLy?)

With a flat 2.0, you would be in 8's!

I know its hard, but possible.

What were your trap speeds by the way?

I need shorter gears... 3.7 FD and some sort of LSD are next on the list...

yea, 7 runs was well worth the $20 this time. There wasn't that many accidents at the track. But I think what also helped us get more runs in was that we were both ready to race as soon as 5pm. We got 3 quick runs within an hour, so there you have it lol

My best time was 9.17 or 9.15 I don't remember lol

I was averaging 9.3's for the first 4 runs that I did, but after that I lowered my tire pressure to 34psi at the rear, softened my suspension a bit and I was also warming up my tires pretty good, at the water box. So all that helped me with about .2xx not bad I would say

you need to join us the next time around Henry!

You lowered the tire pressure TO 34PSI? That seems a bit high. My rears are usually set to around 28's for the track. Normally for daily driving, low to mid 30's.

Wally, whatever happened to your headers/cats and tune?

Both of you should be seeing 8's & 13's sooner or later

.

my tire pressure was/is always at 40.

cats and headers plus tune are still on my plan to do. I should be getting it done in a few weeks. I'm currently getting our kitchen remodeled so it's taking a bit of a hit on the checkbook... I'm shooting for mid-end of May.

shoot, I'm gonna need headers, cats, tune AND new tires if I wanna see those numbers lol

Wally's tire size is different Henry, that’s why psi is dif... I lowered mine after the first few runs to 28 (from 33) and for whatever reason had more problems with traction... Wally - your best was 9.153, it was the last run of the night... My best run is always the 2nd I don't know why. I only had 1 run in the 9.2s - all others were 9.1s...

I think the rear suspension adjustment gave you the best improvement. Try it next time with normal tire pressure and see what happens.

Man Stillen SC (idea) is sounding sweet.... LOL

I told DaveO Nissan Sport Mag should see if Stillen would sponsor a SC and the mag sell raffle tickets for the kit. Even if the mag bought a SC and sold tickets they'd get good exposure... for instance if there were a promo for a $10,000 SC kit with install - tickets $100... you can limit the number of entries say to 100 that gives participants a 1 in 100 chance at a SC for $100!!! They could do this every month and get tons of exposure to the mag!

Or sell 200 tickets and make a boatload of money and participants still have a 1 in 200 chance.

I'd buy a ticket... why am I typing and not setting this up? LOL

heck yah!!! should probably post the idea in the "premiere feedback" forum... the problem is you'd have to limit the number of sales... so with a group this size (G35Driver) or even magazine subscription, you'd have to do many... But Stillen would make out, the entity that held the raffle would make out, and "some" participants would make out.

Hell I've spent more than $100 on car crap that never had a chance to make the kind of power that a SC would... so not winning the raffle isn't any worse than $100 spent elsewhere.... damn it. I just thought of something... If this kind of raffle ever does come to fruition, I can’t play - because if I win people will point to this thread and say it was fixed

I should get a free SC for the idea!
