Well, its on "OK" track when the conditions are perfect, meaning to wind and cool weather.

Traction is always a problem, but during "perfect conditions", it isnt so bad.

I only like the track for practicing. It's their last year anyhow.

I think I learned my lesson; check the weather @ weather.com before I decide to go.

You got away with it because it was an auto; but my best 60ft was 2.9. The track had a layer of sand on it, and almost lost it 2 times in 2nd gear, and still tail fished in 3rd.

Only tried 2 runs because I didnt want to end up against the wall like that camaro did. I tried getting my money back, but it didnt work

.
dude I was trying to waste the $35 of gas I had put on it earlier lol but yea, I was a lil bit in a hurry.

The 07 was putting 2.2s 60footers all the time!! I'm glad I have mine though, the roar/loudness of my G makes me think I'm going faster hahaha

I wish I had the loaner till Thurs - we could go to Irwindale and have Vlad bring his sedan... WaLLy, next time you have a loaner let me know... hopefully we can do a track comparo.

BTW, I got the F150 at least its a white one and not yellow
seriously, he never showed up... not even to the BBQ

I wish they could of gave me the 07 last time instead!! I could of taken it to Irwindale!! But yea, I need to call Tustin again, they sorta broke a piece of the trim and it's bugging me!

so are we gonna be seeing the F150 @ Irwindale anytime soon? lol

Broken trim That sux!!!! Have them fix that **** for sure!!! Damn that's a Costa Mesa move.

LOL at Truck at the track... um... no. I don’t think it would go over very well if word got out that a company truck was drag racing The company name is plastered on the doors. It might be cool to have a Roush supercharger and performance package on it though... I was watching Horsepower TV this morning and I guess they make a package for the F150... Maybe when my "newbie" status wears off I can get them to sponsor a drag truck!

the piece that's like broken is the center piece right above the clock (in an 05). Yours might be right above the temperature stuff. And another thing I need to complain about is my shift **** has a scratch on th right side, so everytime I shift i feel the thing!

I'm up for Irwindale, but not anytime soon.

I think the ealiest I can go is in 3 Thursday from this following Thursday (3 weeks from now).

Let's see if "7 runs" is possible

I'll be good anytime after May 17th. That's the last final I will have and summer vacation starts then!

and if Henry goes and we only get 4 runs, we're not inviting Henry anymore lol j/k bro!

You gotta be there by 4:30 so we can get 3 quick runs within an hour!

gates open at 4:00... you should try to get there then. That way you are in & out of tech inspection quickly. 7 runs possibly more def possible that way!

I love how you delegate

Like the Stillen caravan thread... "someone set up a caravan from SFV"

Dude, 3-4 weeks from now is a long way... how 'bout you set a reminder, then post up like a week in advance

If anyone crashes or die's, I do not want the responsibility of dealing with it

Seeing how Wally loves to start things off, it would be better to give a 3 to 4 week notice so we can get as many G's as possible.

Anything earlier and I might not make it; too many school things to worry about.

We will all sign a waiver releasing you from liability

We're going to throw a big party the first time you take the lead!!! LOL... just giving you a hard time bro

Wally, looks like there is a request for more than 8 hours notice... hmmm 3-4 weeks... maybe the F150 will have the Roush SC on it by then. NOT~

Does May 24th sound good for you guys? That's a little less than 3 weeks away. I'm down to go any Thursday after that if you guys can't make it that day.

Let me know if you guys are cool with that day and I'll start the official thread.
